Lingo is a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system developed by Abbott, designed to provide real-time insights into your body’s glucose levels. The system consists of a small biosensor that attaches painlessly to the back of your upper arm, continuously measuring glucose via a tiny filament just beneath the skin. The sensor streams data directly to your smartphone every minute, allowing you to observe how eating habits, exercise, and other lifestyle factors impact your glucose levels.
Whilst at Future Deluxe, I helped design the landing interface in TouchDesigner. My concept centred on a continuous stream of data that communicates personal glucose levels through colour, pace, and form. Below is a range of concepts I helped shape, which informed the client’s selected direction and now form the foundation of the app as it exists today.
